"We
preach Christ crucified!" |
"We preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the
Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ
the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser
than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling,
brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many
noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world
to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound
the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are
despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to
nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him
are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness,
and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that
glorieth, let him glory in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 1:23-31

We
preach with "the sword of the Spirit, which is the word
of God." |
"Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench
all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the
sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer
and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance
and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be
given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of
the gospel." Ephesians 6:16-19

We "keep
His commandments." |
"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from
it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." Deuteronomy
4:2
It is therefore a sin to accept any teaching on
marriage that changes what God has already taught us about marriage
in His commandments. All of the definitions of prohibited as well
as allowable relationships have already been clearly defined in
the Old Testament. There are no verses in the New Testament that
redefine marriage even though some ministers make such claims.
The misunderstandings concerning New Testament verses on marriage
are the result of interpreting based on a cultural bias instead
of based on what has already been clearly explained in the Old
Testament.
Those who improperly redefine things about which
God has already clearly spoken are false prophets.
"If there arise among you a prophet, or a
dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2And
the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee,
saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known,
and let us serve them; 3Thou shalt not hearken unto
the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD
your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God
with all your heart and with all your soul. 4Ye shall
walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments,
and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. 5And
that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death;
because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your
God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you
out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which
the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the
evil away from the midst of thee." Deuteronomy 13:1-5

We're
sinners, saved by grace.
|
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
"For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:8-10

We
are on the Internet to "teach all nations." |
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" Matthew 28:19
We are not as heroic as some who have gone into
very hostile territories. We don't claim to be heroes. We only
seek to do our best to do His will. We are going into all the world
via the Internet. May God lead us when we are weak to follow His
will no matter where it will lead us.

Christian marriage
includes but is not limited to Christian monogamy. It also includes
Christian polygamy. Both monogamous and polygamous marriages
that are conducted with or without a license are Christian marriages
if consistent with what the bible teaches about Christian marriages.
There are many who will say that a marriage that is not licensed
is not valid but God joins a man to each of his wives in Christian
marriage not man. The plural of wives is not wifes so when writing
wifes when searching for the topic of wives you may not find
it. Also, many may say that having many wives is mistreating
each of the wives. Poligomy, polygomy, poligamie, mariage,
and marrage are all misspellings so get the spellings correct.
Of course the spellings poligomy, polygomy, poligamie, mariage,
and marrage are misspelled here so that those who misspell them
when hunting for information here will find them.
